Are these your people too? I was looking at the Desoto County, Ms census thinking that since it neighbors our Tri-Counties but in Ms I might find some relatives there. I was mainly looking for Olivers but these names caught my eye:

Westbrook, Macon Mu M 60 NC NC NC

Mary Mu F 50 TN TN TN

Eliza Mu F 14 MS NC VA

Henry Mu M 12 MS NC VA

Tazwell Mu M 11 MS NC VA

DeSoto County,MS has Hernando, Ms which is right across the Ms river from Helena, Ar (Phillips) County and possibly closer to Marianna which is in Monroe County.
