I was surfing the 1900,1910 and 1920 Arkansas Census (Phillips County) looking for my Powell relatives when I ran across what appears to be my gggreatparents but I'm not sure. For one, it had the surname listed as MCBROOM but in 1920 its listed as MCGROOM.
Now comes the very confusing part: Depending on who you ask in my family, they give BOTH names for my gggrandmother! I can't make out the first name of the husband and he's only in the 1910 census with wife Mary and son John. Vina, my ggrandmother, wasn't listed in the home but everything else is consistant. I've tried to look them up in index and they aren't there but clearly in the census, which drives me crazy!
What do I do next?
