That is the only assumpson that continued to come back to me. It is a gut feeling, so far they have worked pretty good.
How did you determine what county your family came from?
My Locketts hailed from Ga, I was told from a long ago post on another site most blacks were from Taylor and Green Ga.
of course that was just her opinion, not sure how she came up with it. She does live some place in Ga.
