IF you're asking for a calculated guess at what the names of the great great grandparents may have been with reference to the names of Sallie and Davy's children ... I would hazard to say that the names of the first two daughters, Caroline and Ellen, are probably named for a grandmother. The question is on which side, maternal or paternal?

Unless Sallie was a woman to go her own way and perhaps give her first daughter a name that had no relation to her mother or mother-in-law but rather a name she simply liked the sound of?

Surely one of those first three sons is named for a Grandfather but, which one?
