We are three sisters looking for any living members of John and Elizabeth Askew's family.The Askews lived in South Bound Brook, New Jersey in the early 1930's. They separated and Ms. Askew moved to 504 West 4th St.Plainfield, N.J. Some of their children were Eldora,Charles,Stella & John Askew. Our mother is Eldora Askew,born 01/10/1910 in Philadelphia,Pa. We were wards of the State of New Jersey from Oct.1941 thru May 1960.Our father's name is Robert Short born 05/31/1916 in Bennettsville,S.C. His parents were Rufus and Liddie Short and they lived in Camden N.J.
