I am lookin for information on a Mary Green(e)? She was my grandmother. She had one child name Charles E. Matthews, which was my father. Rumors are that she died after childbirth. He was raised by his aunt Rachel Green(e) Williams in Anne Arundel County. I believe she died in Prince George's County. My father was born in 1911, somewhere around that time. I can research my fathers' father (Matthews) - I have access to them, but can not find anything on his mother. The area that my father grew up in was called Bacon Town (Whiskey Bottom Road). I understand that the Green's came from Annapolis Junction which is now a part of Jessup and Columbia, MD. Please help me if you can. Thank you. Rose email (tutti137@aol.com)
