Seventies: well, 1 March is the sequestration start and 27 March is when DoD goes up on the chopping block. The past couple of years the dept of the Army has been making cuts.. so we'll see.

Seventies: well she was 104... Born dec 93, died Jan 98

alt: my father passed in 1945, when I was 11 y/o Seventies
Seventies: Oh he was young alt.

Seventies: My great-grandfather passed in 1984, the next year his son Benj named after his father passed.
alt: he was a late baby, his father was born in 1852 ... in slavery. so I'm one of those folks with a grandparent who was born during slavery.
vkn: My father was born 1878 and died 1938 when I was 9
