Seventies Soulchild: I found a few very good articles on the Natchez Democrat yesterday alt.

Seventies Soulchild: The articles are within the past 10 yrs, but focus on historical items from WW I and WWII

Seventies Soulchild: I would say general local news. For example, McKinley Barnes a cousin was featured talking about his uncle who fought in WWI and the ongoing campaign to get his name on the veterans' plaque in Natchez Ser Boxley participated in this article as well.

Seventies Soulchild: Also provided names of various organizations in the community. Mainstream paper. The black newspaper is the Bluff City Reader or something like that.

alt: I only met him one time at an UGRR summit here in Ohio, he was one of the featured presenters But I keep in touch with him thru Bennie McRae, who he calls Nana Bennie

alt: jut saw on FaceBook where a lot of folks have "lost' lots of stuff that were on 3.5 and can't find a CPU with an 'A" drive to copy to copy to flashdrive or sumpin to save their data

vkn: Many Atlanta area school systems are tossing computers as we know them and buying the iPads

alt: that' marketing for ya vkn, we've become a 'throw-away' society. we have a tendency to jump to something new without thinkg of a transition period
