daviss: brb
Ingrid_Doweary: I like the concept of your topic, Khathu.
alt: Khathu, on AA's in Public Education, will you explore the differences between AA's in the North and AA's in the South? .. from the aspect of segregation and de facto segregation
Ingrid_Doweary: Are you covering community history or are you covering urban and rural settings?
Khathu: because of the time limite it will be a general overview
Ingrid_Doweary: Great idea Alt. I certainly observed a difference among my friends on the high school level.
alt: I know... that is a very HUGE subject we have family educated here in Ohio that had to go South to teach because the 'integrated schools' in the North weren't hiring AA Teachers. of course this was before the 60's
daviss: I have a copy of a letter the supt of a school sent to my uncle telling him that the negroes are messing themselves up trying to intergrate and that if he were him he should go to cali to teach This was in Texas
Khathu: wow
Ingrid_Doweary: Interesting in both cases.
alt: I can believeit Daviss

alt: yes Ingrid_Doweary, wonderful accomplishment and you'll do a wonderful job
daviss: I now alt and in all my yrs I have never been polled what gets me is the terms they use Its the will of the American people
Ingrid_Doweary: In the 80s and the 90s I used to work part time as phone interviewer for those political and other subject specific polls.
daviss: hey I am an American and I did not will most of these things lol
Ingrid_Doweary: Thanks again, Alt.
alt: yep, the 'code words" and the 'embellishments'
Ingrid_Doweary: I have a couple of times. The cell phones are more accessible than the land phones now.
daviss: I get these robo call that get on my durn nerves
alt: you've been interviewed on a cell phone Ingrid_Doweary?
Ingrid_Doweary: However the influence of the Tea Party Express is one of those reasons to vote. I haven't been interviewed by cell phone yet.
alt: oh okay Ingrid_Doweary, thought that is what you were saying.
Ingrid_Doweary: Which code words and embellishments are you thinking of Alt? And I was just suppositioning the increase use of polling by cell phone.
alt: the will of the people, taking America back. United we stand, don't tread on me... all appealing to 'white' folks
daviss: yep alt hello frances stephens

daviss: they get that take from the Becks, Limbaughs, and hannities of the world Ingrid
alt: my time's up y'all... take care
daviss: bye alt
Ingrid_Doweary: Well it's an extremely dangerous void in the American voter.
frances stephens: I am fine, got past the high winds of three days ago. Polls, got a call a few days ago, opted out of that. I don't do polls.
daviss: of course it is, and if they win the projected you will see how dangerous it really is
Ingrid_Doweary: I heard that Frances. Yes, Daviss the void of American Civics in the American Voter has proven to be extremely dangerous in the process.
daviss: son on his way now to take me to vote. I usually go on the actual day but transmission went out on my car . This is a ride I cant miss
Ingrid_Doweary: Go for it, Daviss. Good luck.
daviss: And this will be the first time in my life I voted early
Ingrid_Doweary: Umm When I voted for the 1st time it was by absentee ballot, because I was away at college.
frances stephens: My husband and I did this last month, just as soon as the absentee ballot hit the mailbox, the city clerk had it back the next day.
daviss: take care folks
Ingrid_Doweary: Sounds like a good turnaround period. Seventies, what you up to?
frances stephens: Must run myself, the sun is out and leaves are calling my name. And we don't have any trees in our yard. wonder if I can blow them over to there rightful owners.
Ingrid_Doweary: Oh well Seventies guess it's time for us to move on today. wb frances stephens
